THE DAILY REALITY
The world is aging rapidly. By 2030, 17% people will be over 60 globally.
As people live longer, the need for care is rising just as quickly, with long-term care demand expected to more than triple in some regions by 2050 .
A GROWING NEED
Many older adults still live at home and maintain basic independence, but supporting this lifestyle is increasingly complex. Care must go beyond physical help and respect dignity and autonomy, making it both expensive and difficult to match with the right support. As mobility declines and health needs grow, a clear gap remains between practical assistance and emotional well-being.
A MISALIGNED MARKET
Despite rapid advances in robotics, most humanoid systems are not designed for elderly care. They prioritize industrial performance or narrow medical functions, often overlooking usability, comfort, and human connection.
